Overview

Our client is a private household located in Westmount and composed of two adults, seeking a talented and organized private chef to help them maintain a healthy and varied diet by preparing pre-cooked meals for dinner (7 days a week). The dishes are preferably to be prepared at their residence, using, in part, fresh produce from their farm.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare a variety of healthy dishes on a weekly basis that can be easily finished and reheated.
• Understand and incorporate the dietary preferences and nutritional needs of the principals.
• Purchase the necessary ingredients, focusing on freshness and quality.
• Prepare appropriate portions to facilitate meals throughout the week.
• Refrigerate or freeze meals in an organized manner with clear instructions for reheating and finishing.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Requirements

Proven professional experience as a chef, with specific expertise in preparing pre-cooked (pre-prepared) meals. Excellent understanding of nutrition and the ability to create balanced, healthy meals. Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. Culinary degree or equivalent preferred, but not required. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. High level of autonomy and ability to take initiative. Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to adapt to the evolving tastes and needs of the household.
