As a Power Plant Operator, you'll play a vital role in the operation of our combined cycle power plant. This is your chance to join a collaborative team, working 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, and embracing overtime when needed.
Your key responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and AESO regulations.
- Monitor plant equipment proactively to prevent operational issues.
- Communicate operational and mechanical statuses to the Shift Engineer.
- Exhibit strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Assume additional duties as assigned by the Shift Engineer.

Third or Fourth Class Power Engineer's Certificate of Competency.Minimum of one year related experience or a first-year power engineering student.Grade 12 or high school equivalency diploma.Valid Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Safety Sensitive position - completion of a pre-employment drug screen required.Why join us?
