Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

At the heart of installations as well as technological and application deployments of Logibec systems at the customer's site, the Specialist, Systems Deployment is an essential player in the execution of installation, upgrade, enhancement, relocation and migration work of the various systems at the customer's site.

They also ensure that the work is optimized for the latest commercial version available, and constantly monitor the optimal use of the company's solutions by the customers.

MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE :

  • Perform installation, upgrade, enhancement, relocation and migration of products and their components according to the specific environment of each client, using procedures and tools set up for this purpose (this work is done remotely);
  • Support the customer in problem solving by analysing the cause, implementing a solution and ensuring that the customer's needs are met;
  • Intervene in the processing of customer requests via the appropriate tool;
  • Communicate directly with the customer during the execution of the work and remain the central point for the follow-up of the remaining problems;
  • Respond to requests for information and questions related to operating software and equipment by providing internal level 2 support;
  • Advise customers on the latest products, the operation of their system and during the implementation phase of new equipment and software;
  • Produce and maintain documentation related to the team's procedures and processes;
  • Produce and maintain documentation in line with the team's procedures and processes;
  • Perform customer inventory updates in the appropriate tool to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Minimum of a DEC in computer science or related field, and relevant experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of Solaris, Unix, Linux and Windows environments
  • Knowledge of Oracle and MS-SQL databases
  • Good analytical skills, resourcefulness and understanding of job log files
  • Demonstrated leadership and a predisposition for good collaboration and information exchange between colleagues
  • Curiosity, proactivity and strong problem solving skills
  • Good organisational skills and rigour in the preparation and execution of various tasks
  • A very good ability to listen and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt in a constantly evolving sector and good tolerance of stress
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, English would be an asset
  • Available to work regular atypical hours
