Senior Consultant - Organizational Change Management

The Vancouver Business Advisory team is seeking an experienced and passionate change consultant to support the growth of our organizational change management capability in Vancouver.

This role collaborates closely across our capabilities to identify customer needs, refine offerings, ensure excellence in delivery and drive client sales.

This role will also have people leadership responsibilities and contribute to business operations for the practice. This individual will have client delivery responsibilities, and the ability to advise and deliver modern solutions for C-suite clients.

So, what will I do?

  • Design and deliver effective people-focused solutions that help our clients accomplish their goals.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to fully understand their needs, elevate performance, improve team dynamics, and transform their organizational culture.
  • Champion a compelling point of view, including best practices and emerging trends in the given subject area(s), such as Change Management, Strategy, Organizational Culture Strategy, Talent and Culture transformation, Human Resource or Human Capital Transformation.
  • Work with Slalom project teams to design and implement Organizational Change Management plans for projects including Change Impact Assessments, Stakeholder Mapping, Learning Needs Assessments, and Impact Mitigation Planning.
  • Build centers of excellence focused on change management.
  • Identify opportunities, articulate Slalom's value, and sell our services to both new and existing clients.
  • Mentor clients, work on projects independently, participate as a team member, and / or lead teams of consultants and / or clients to successful project delivery.
  • Work in multiple disciplines across industries and build client knowledge and credibility quickly (projects vary in length, lasting anywhere from a few weeks to several months).

And, what will I bring?

  • 5+ years leading organizational change management activities for organization-driven and technology-driven changes; within management consulting.
  • Client-centric delivery skills in organizational change management and transformation with a consistent record of guiding clients and teams in achieving business outcomes.
  • Self-starter and with a learner mindset.
  • Ability to apply models and draw from best practices in a flexible and customized manner for customers, looking ahead to their needs.
  • Successful track record of building and maintaining client and internal relationships, continuously growing a network of peers and clients.
  • Experience defining business strategy for a consulting team to include setting targets, identifying key talent hiring and development needs, performance management and achieving business goals.
  • Certification in a Change Management methodology such as PROSCI is an asset.

Hybrid / In office : We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations / requirements

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $98,000 to $125,000.

In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
