POSITION : Elementary Primary Teacher

ASSIGNMENT : French Immersion (K-1)

FTE : 1.0

LOCATION : École Red Bluff Lhtako

EFFECTIVE DATES : Commencing September 1, 2025 and continuing

Basic Qualifications : The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch AND possesses one or more of the following :

Training Specialization : Elementary Education with a specialization in French Immersion at the Primary Level

Related Teaching Experience : Recent successful experience teaching French Immersion at the Primary Level

A Reasonable Expectation : based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff

Additional Qualifications :

• Fluency in English / French - oral / written - applicant must be willing to take a language proficiency test - oral and written

Other :

The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
