Bilingual Executive Administrative Assistant Job Description: Provide exemplary member service and accurate information while managing correspondence to and from leadership staff government external high ranking officials other labour organizations media and others; Manage the schedule and travel arrangements for the President and Chief of Staff; Use grammatical expertise to compose format and edit often complex and sensitive letters memos correspondences reports and presentations from draft stage to completion; Event and meeting coordination both onsite and offsite; Perform real time note-taking sending follow-up actionable items and keeping track of deliverables; Provide back-up support to leadership and senior staff as directed through the Presidents office. Protecting and being privy to confidential materials and information consistent with Unifors confidentiality policy. |
Post-secondary education diploma or equivalent preferred;
A minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar role;
Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate executive work schedules.
Established ability to work with confidential information;
Strong time management skills.
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills including effective phone skills to different audiences;
Impeccable attention to detail;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint);
Potentially available and prepared to work long hours (nights and weekends) and travel for extended periods as needed.
Required Skills:
Post-secondary education diploma or equivalent preferred; A minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar role; Strong language skills including writing editing and proofreading in both official languages (English and French).
