As a Senior Subcontract Specialist P3 here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in establishing and driving procurement of materials and services in alignment with business guidelines for our Americas Facility Management business as per the Annual Operating Plan.

You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, as well as export / import regulations. This role oversees procurement activities for multiple sites across Canada and the United States.

You will report directly to our Americas P3 Supply Management Leader, and you'll work out of our Markham, ON location.

In this role, you will impact the evaluation of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with company policies and program requirements.

Your expertise in subcontract management will be crucial in identifying and resolving subcontract issues and developing mutually acceptable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct RFQ / RFP activities : Identify, qualify and evaluate potential bidders for the bid.Prepare bid packages, ensure completeness of bid package from commercial and technical aspects and issue the RFP / RFQ via Ivalua.

Conduct commercial evaluation of bids.Address bidders’ concerns about T&Cs including payment terms, bond requirements, insurance requirements etc.

  • Conduct negotiations with vendors.
  • Monitor purchasing activities to ensure compliance with company policy.
  • Review purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders.
  • Assist the P3 Buyer in resolving issues related to the purchase requisitions and supporting documents.
  • Ensure timely renewal of Master Service Agreements (MSA) and issuance of Contract amendments / addendums.
  • Lead Sourcing activities for Benchmarking and Market Testing requirements as mandated by customer contracts.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of procurement / subcontracts administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience negotiating with vendors and managing contracts
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with procurement software and tools (SAP).

  • Experience utilizing MS Office Suite, SAP, iValua and other business tools used in the execution of subcontract management activities
