Maintenance Technician – Journeyperson Millwright – Rotating Shifts once per month (plus Shift premium)

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintenance / repair of the assigned production equipment using the prescribed techniques
• Performs preventative maintenance of manufacturing related equipment using the prescribed techniques.
• Inspects equipment to assure safe operating conditions prior to start-up.
• Maintains log of repairs and of completed preventative maintenance.
• Review all equipment operation / maintenance information / manuals supplied to assembly technicians
• Responsible for shutting down equipment due to unsafe and / or process out of control conditions.
• Completes equipment changeovers in accordance with established standards
• Makes use of all prescribed safety equipment and implement safe work practices
• Proper maintenance of workstations – ensure good housekeeping habits
• Responsible for knowing and upholding the H&S Policy and for working in a safe manner and reporting all unsafe or unhealthy conditions or acts.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Participates actively in the requirement to retain ISO / TS16949 / ISO14001 certification
• Adhere to all company policies and practices
• Completes assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned.
• Willing to work overtime on weekends and holidays as needed
