Physiotherapist

Kelowna General Hospital is hiring for Casual Physiotherapists to work blocks of shifts in acute care, including some weekends. Shift times are 08 : 00-16 : 00 and 07 : 30-15 : 30. About The Position

The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and / or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
