JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in executing operational procedures, brand standards, and service excellence
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily restaurant operations and team shifts
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support performance management initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations
  • Address and resolve customer concerns professionally and in a timely manner
  • Lead by example to deliver outstanding guest service and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Assist with staff scheduling to align with business volumes and labour targets
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
  • Maintain Tim Hortons standards for product quality, preparation, and equipment use
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, operational compliance, and equipment calibration
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, audits, and cost control
  • Help manage waste reduction and overall operational efficiency
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment
  • Support local marketing initiatives, community events, and brand promotion
  • Learn and perform all restaurant positions (front and back of house) as required
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, take guest orders, and suggest add-ons when appropriate
  • Safely perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Count and verify cash floats and registers as required
  • Maintain flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Step in to lead operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
  • Perform additional duties as required to support business needs
