Position Summary

We are seeking a Dispatcher Manager to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in overseeing the dispatch operations, supporting the Director of Trucking Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong management background, combined with experience in the trucking and logistics industry. As the Dispatcher Manager, you will supervise a team of dispatchers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, while maintaining high safety and service standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in an expanding company.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and manage a team of 6 dispatchers, ensuring that operations run smoothly, and goals are achieved.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the dispatch team, fostering a positive and productive environment.
• Take responsibility for scheduling and dispatching trucking resources, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and per client requirements.
• Supervise day-to-day operations when the Director of Trucking is not in the office, making critical decisions and providing leadership support.
• Monitor driver performance, safety, and compliance, working closely with the Safety and Compliance Manager.
• Ensure efficient communication between the dispatch team, drivers, and clients to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure that the dispatch team adheres to all company policies, industry regulations, and customer service standards.
