Job description

Location : Richmond (Hybrid)

Job Summary :

Semtech Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Corporate Marketing and Communications Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate marketing and communications within a fast-paced and innovative technology company. The successful candidate will work closely with our Corporate Marketing and Communications team to support various initiatives aimed at promoting Semtech's brand, products, and corporate messaging.

Responsibilities :

Gain hands-on experience in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including content creation, social media and blog programming, and email marketing.

Collaborate with internal teams on marketing collateral, presentations, and sales support materials.

Learn about planning and coordination of offline and online corporate events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences, including logistics, booth setup, and attendee engagement.

Learn about KPI measurement and performance through data analytics.

Strengthen professional, communications, and analytical skills.

Minimum Qualifications :

Junior level or higher working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields of study (recent graduates considered).

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Familiarity with AP style is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is desirable.

Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and experience with social media management tools is a plus.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute innovative ideas to marketing and communications projects.

Previous internship or work experience in marketing, journalism, communications, or public relations is preferred but not required.
