Opportunity :

We are searching for an energetic, innovative, and financially-astute director of hotel operations. You have a solid track-record in managing a hotel or collection of hotel properties. You are looking to grow your career thru partnership with us. Pacific Reach is well-capitalized, and owns diversified businesses. Reporting directly to the CEO, the director of hotel operations is an integral member of the senior management team.

Responsibilities :

• Set budgets and drive financial performance of hotel properties.
• Engage with hotel unions in bargaining, resolving issues, and build relationships.
• Resolve complex HR matters and set compensation expectations.
• Liaise with hotel franchisors, and negotiate new franchise agreement.
• Manage capital upgrades at hotel properties, and controlling capital spend vs. budget.
• Participate in due diligence, and keep abreast of market activities for hotels.
• Oversee all hotel managers and provide on-going feedback.
• Participate in strata activities for strata hotels.
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities, including working with property tax consultant on appeals.
