We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Physiotherapy department.
In accordance with established vision and values of Northern Health, the Occupational Therapist performs assessments and interventions related to patients' occupational performance according to established Occupational Therapy practices and national provincial college standards. The occupational therapist works as a team member under the general supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist of the OT department. This position rotates between acute physical / medical inpatient wards and outpatient services. The Occupational Therapist works independently and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre is a 46-bed hospital with 115 residential care beds in the adjoining Peace Villa Care Home. They have two state of the art operating rooms, ambulatory clinics including cancer care and hemodialysis, emergency and ICU, a birthing centre with single maternity rooms for labour, delivery and post-partum.
Fort St. John is located above the Peace River Valley, and has a diverse population of 21,000 (2021) and serves an area of approximately 69,000.
