PC Planner / Scheduler

Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Planner / Scheduler for a project-based role in Empress, Alberta starting late June 2026 through October 2026. The scope includes heavy rigging mechanical and piping work, critical lifts, and pre-planning, with primarily bolt-up piping and limited onsite welding. This position follows a 12 & 2 rotation with 10-hour days and offers a $165 / day LOA.

What would you be doing?

• Collaborate with Site Managers and project teams to develop, monitor, and analyze project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.
• Coordinate and manage outside services, handle administrative tasks, and ensure all spending is approved by the Project Manager while maintaining a master project schedule.
• Mentor and evaluate junior schedulers / planners, delivering accurate and timely project reports, and identifying areas of concern to propose effective solutions.
• Recommend improvements to the planning and scheduling process, ensuring adherence to safety standards and fostering a positive safety culture.
• Lead project initiation phases, review contractor schedules for feasibility, and oversee effective planning, construction, and project turnover.
