The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the https : / / www.ualberta.ca / engineering / index.html at the https : / / www.ualberta.ca / index.html is seeking applications for a full‑time tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in advanced manufacturing, with a particular focus on applying machine learning to advanced manufacturing, design of multi‑functional materials for advanced manufacturing, high‑throughput manufacturing, digital twinning, hybrid manufacturing, and / or experimental or computational mechanics (or multi‑scale modelling) applied to advanced structural materials for advanced manufacturing. The ability to teach broadly in the undergraduate mechanical engineering program will be of paramount importance. Exceptional candidates in closely related areas or at the rank of Associate Professor may be considered.
This role will be in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
