The Role

Imagine the excitement of deploying for six months overseas as an Accounting Coordinator supporting the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and partner nations. You will not simply complete accounting duties but will play a key role in enhancing morale and welfare for deployed troops.

As a team player with a positive attitude in a fast‑paced setting, you will :

• Plan, organize, and manage the delivery of accounting services and programs.
• Provide advice and interpretation on accounting and administrative policies to managers and senior military officers.
• Notify and report any unusual trends / activities to managers for investigation.
• Act as Comptroller to the military Commander and provide accounting control over assets and liabilities.
• Assist and train employees, managers and military personnel on accounting / finance related topics / programs.
• Contribute to recreational activities and events that support morale and readiness.

Additional Qualifications Before Deployment

Current CPR and Basic First Aid Qualifications required.

Language Requirements : English essential.

Job Information

Position Type : Civilian deployment contracts – 6‑month terms with start dates within the next 2 years.

Hours : Up to 56 hours per week (including weekdays and weekends).
