Schedule

Leadership
As a registered nurse you will become an integral member of the interprofessional team responsible for the comprehensive care of medical patients. You will practice in an environment where the emphasis is on professional practice and customer satisfaction. In addition, you will utilize your demonstrated clinical leadership skills, well developed analytical, problem solving, delegation and interpersonal skills to assist you in the provision of quality patient care. 48_Patient Care Created with Sketch.
Patient care
Using your clinical expertise, in collaboration with the interprofessional team, you will be responsible for comprehensive assessment, care planning, patient education and discharge planning to support the continuity of care throughout the patient’s stay on AAU, an acute inpatient medical department. You will play a critical role in the coordination and development of interprofessional plans of care, which reflect patient needs.

Education
Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses. Current BCLS certification. Certificate in oncology and / or gerontology would be an asset. RNAO membership is preferred. 48_Experience Created with Sketch.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in acute medicine. AAU experience preferred. Coronary Care 1 experience preferred. Evidence of ongoing professional development, continuing education and leadership experience. 48_Assessment Created with Sketch.
