About the Role :
The Sales Coordinator is an integral member of our team, acting as a central hub between design, estimating, outside sales, and distribution teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of products to our clients. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet customer needs and deadlines. Prior experience in the home building, renovation, or lumber and building materials (LBM) industry is highly valuable for this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Support : Collaborate with the outside sales team to process orders, provide updates, and address client inquiries. Work with the design and estimating teams to ensure accurate quotes, product specifications, and timelines align with client expectations. Monitor the progress of orders from initial quote to delivery, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently.
- Client Communication : Serve as a primary point of contact for customers to provide updates on order status, delivery timelines, and any changes. Maintain accurate records of orders, project timelines, and client communications. Generate reports for internal stakeholders as needed.
- Logistics Coordination : Partner with the distribution team to schedule deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure on-time product arrival.
- Team Collaboration : Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and a smooth workflow. Proactively address challenges or delays in the order process to maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a sales coordination, project coordination, or customer service role, preferably in the home building, renovation, or lumber and building materials (LBM) industry.Strong understanding of lumber products, building materials, or construction processes.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of estimating, project management, or design software is an asset.LI-LBM
