Line Cook Closer

A&W is seeking a line cook who can multi task in a fast-paced environment. This successful candidate will be responsible for providing hot food served fast while keeping a clean and sanitized work area. We are looking for someone that takes pride in the presentation and quality of the food they serve to keep our guests coming back for more!  Responsibilities & Duties : Preparing menu items to A&W recipesEnsure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning requirementsWork with a team of cooks to prep work for other shifts when neededMonitor product freshness and rotate stock (first in, first out)Follow all food safety standards Ensure the restaurant is clean and reset for the opening teamBenefits of Working for A&W : We pay a competitive offer a Scholarship programWe have a Service Awards program through Williams RecognitionWe know you’ve got a life outside of work. Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time

Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Must be team oriented

Must be at least 15 years old to work in the kitchen

Full online and hands on training provided

Must be able to work until close (approx. 1 / 2 to an hour after the restaurant closes)
