Job description

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will oversee key processes such as invoice entry, T&E, vendor management, and payments. You'll generate reports, review month-end results, and monitor performance indicators to ensure timely invoice payments.

Role : Accounts Payable Supervisor

Location : Downtown Montréal

Salary : 75k - 95k

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

Review and recommend improvements for Accounts Payable processes.

Supervise a team of about 6 finance staff and support the Manager in system / process changes, training, and restructuring.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Oversee invoice processing, resolve issues, and prevent duplicate payments.

Provide expert guidance to the team.

Qualifications

Skills :

Strong interpersonal, business analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication, both verbal and written.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

8-10 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable.

Experience in freight or logistics is a plus.

Previous management or supervisory experience.

Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
