Mill Production Associate Steam Class 5 - FT (Aldergrove)

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a   Full-Time Mill Production Associate  at our Feed Mill located in Aldergrove, BC.

What you’ll do : Ensure accurate receiving and inventory for all grain orders.

Product transfers and filling product bins.

Loading bulk truck equipment and operating text lines.

Mix all product required for sacking or retail bulk sales using Mattis System.

Operate a pelleting equipment.

Record all mixes in accordance with HACCP requirements.

Comply with all CFIA and all other Federal regulations, both in quality and safety.

Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of  Integrity, Community and Excellence.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.  Who you are : You are looking for a career in Feed Manufacturing Operations and : Holds Power Engineering Class 5 Steam Ticket Certificate or is willing to uptain within first 18 months of employment .

Must have math skills, basic computer skills.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

The ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple time demands.

Motivation and ability to work under pressure and in a busy environment is required.

Must be committed to a SAFE working environment.

Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
