Job description

Position Overview :

As a Machine Operator , you will play a key role in manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing production machines to ensure the production of high-quality plastic components. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering precision products.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and configure machines for production, ensuring efficiency and product quality.
  • Monitor machine performance, making real-time adjustments to optimize cycle times and material flow.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot molding issues such as flash, warpage, or dimensional variations.
  • Perform changes, clean and maintain molds, and execute routine maintenance to avoid downtime.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet detailed specifications.
  • Accurately document production parameters, maintenance records, and quality control data.
  • Work closely with production teams to meet daily production targets.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mold technology or related fields is preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose defects and troubleshoot machine performance issues.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
