Under the authority of the Manager, Maintenance & Warehouse, the Critical Systems Technician performs maintenance of systems such as purified water, water for injection, boilers, cooling system linked to the product (chiller production) and water treatment.
Perform troubleshooting on the various systems linked to the building, validated systems and production equipment. Ensures the proper functioning of the BAS and alarm management.

Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance on purified water, HVAC ventilation, air conditioning, clean compressed air, water for injection (WFI) and pure steam systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on the various systems connected to the building and which may affect products such as Nitrogen, control of cooling systems (chiller production).
Coordinate external firms that need to touch critical systems, in addition to evaluating the quality of the work carried out and the performance provided
- Provide the requested expertise to the Engineering, Validation, Quality Assurance and Technology Transfer departments.
- Develop, participate and integrate improvements to equipment and processes.
- Collaborate in revising department procedures.
- Perform chemical analyzes on condensed water from boilers and closed and open water systems.
- Carry out wastewater control.
- Carry out general maintenance work on the building according to the preventive maintenance system.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the Siemens automation system.
- Perform a daily check of the building automation system (BAS).
- Act as administrator of access rights to production equipment.
- Work directly on sterile production equipment (autoclave, freeze dryer, Gruenberg oven, HEPA filters in the production area, air return, etc.).
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Certificat de qualification de mécanicien de machines fixes classe 4B
- Stationary engineer (MMF) - Class 4B
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations
- Good Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations
- Good knowledge of the technological environment in stationary machine mechanics.
- Good knowledge of purified water treatment systems, pure steam system and water for injection.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Compliance with the company's requirements and policies (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Be resourceful, versatile, autonomous, meticulous, efficient and have good interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Siemens automation system.
- Sterile dressing qualification
- Bilingualism, the candidate will be responsible for working with suppliers and / or customers located outside the province of Quebec.
