Compensation

The position offers a comprehensive compensation package, inclusive of a lucrative base salary and an extensive benefits package.

Position Description

  • Team Development : Develop the team in leadership, skill sets, team unity, and communication.
  • Solution Design and Implementation : Provide oversight and make decisions concerning Solution Design, Implementation, and Continuous Improvement projects.Manage, design, and deliver innovative manual, automated, or mechanized solutions for new and existing clients, covering all operational elements including operating cost calculation, operation flow design, technology and equipment selection, and facility layout design.
  • Proposal Development : Analyze tenders and technical specifications to design solutions and create proposals in collaboration with the sales department, ensuring adherence to specified timelines.
  • Implementation Support : Support implementation in a turnkey fashion within warehouse operations.
  • Project Management : Track all projects and provide communication and guidance to the senior leadership team.Ensure Project Scope is outlined, followed, and if necessary, change request process is followed and documented.Lead and deliver successful implementations on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Analysis and Improvement : Analyze existing operations and provide improvement recommendations.Perform cost / benefit trade-off analysis and develop ROI business cases for recommended projects involving process, system, or advanced technology changes.
  • Client Interaction : Participate in client-facing meetings to validate requirements and processes, as well as provide assistance to clients in data gathering.
  • Communication and Reporting : Effectively communicate opportunities for improvement, budget variances, and identified risks.Conduct performance reviews and manage HRIS requirements of direct reports.Develop yearly budgets for the department.
  • Special Projects : Perform special research or technical studies critical to logistics support functions.
  • This role demands a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, adeptness in solution design and implementation, excellent project management capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

    Experience

    A decade of leadership expertise in a dynamic supply chain / logistics scenario.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters or Advanced degree in engineering, business, operations, and / or technology preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive expertise in diverse storage methodologies, material handling equipment, and automated solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, SQL, and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems, lean methodologies, six sigma tools, and labor management systems.
  • Experience in multiple warehouse automation applications.
  • Education

    A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline.
