Overview
The Manager of Engineering will oversee electrical and mechanical engineering efforts, support day-to-day production, and guide new product development. This role requires a licensed P.Eng with strong experience in electrical systems, CAD modeling, manufacturing processes, and the complete product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor engineers and EITs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and design-for-manufacturing.
- Serve as Permit to Practice lead under Engineers & Geoscientists BC.
Product Development
Oversee the full product development lifecycle (concept to launch).Manage mold procurement and tooling for new products.Lead prototype builds, layouts, and integration.Maintain change management processes and ensure traceability.Electrical Systems Oversight
Lead design and troubleshooting for DC (12V) and AC (120V) systems.Guide lithium battery and Victron Energy product integration.Support production and after-sales teams with electrical issues.CAD & BOM Management
Oversee CAD model integrity and file structure (Onshape).Ensure BOM accuracy and alignment with supply chain.Champion automation for build sheet creation.Vendor & Supplier Relationships
Maintain technical relationships with key vendors.Support procurement and evaluation of engineered components.CNC & Fabrication Oversight
Ensure CNC equipment is maintained and supported.Promote knowledge sharing between engineers and operators.Compliance & Quality
Lead QAI inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.Mentor EITs on licensing and EGBC compliance.Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in BC (required).7+ years in engineering leadership (RV, automotive, or similar preferred).Strong knowledge of DC / AC systems, lithium batteries, solar, and Victron products.Proficient in CAD (Onshape preferred).Experience with BOM management and change management.Proven mentorship of EITs and EGBC compliance leadership.Assets
Background in fiberglass, rotomolding, or RV industry.Familiarity with QAI and EGBC standards.Hands-on troubleshooting and fabrication skills.Benefits
