KITCHEN MANAGER

Throughout Lower Mainland – Red Robin

💰 Competitive Pay & Perks You’ll Love:

  • $61,000 - $75,000 per year inclusive of Tip Pool Share
  • Tip-Out Share (Average $6K-$10K annually)

What You’ll Do as a Red Robin Kitchen Manager

At Red Robin, our Kitchen Managers aren’t just in charge of the back-of-house; they’re leaders, trainers, problem-solvers, and the keepers of our incredible food quality standards.

You’ll take ownership of everything that happens in the kitchen, including:
✅ Leading and mentoring a team of kitchen staff to keep operations smooth.
✅ Ensuring our burgers, BOTTOMLESS SIDES, and all menu items are cooked to perfection every time.
✅ Managing food production, inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization.
Controlling food & labor costs to optimize restaurant profitability.

What You Bring to the Table:

1+ years of full-service restaurant experience as a Kitchen Manager or Assistant Kitchen Manager.
✅ A proven track record of leading a high-performing kitchen team.
Strong food safety and sanitation knowledge (Foodsafe Level 1 preferred; Level 2 is a plus!).
Flexibility to work a mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays—because our guests love Red Robin every day of the week!

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Kitchen Leadership Experience: Minimum 1+ years in a Kitchen Manager or Assistant Kitchen Manager role (or equivalent restaurant leadership). You’ve led kitchen teams, upheld food quality standards, and ensured smooth kitchen operations.
Culinary Expertise: You’re passionate about great food, follow recipe execution to perfection, and take pride in delivering high-quality dishes every time.
Team Builder & Mentor: You know how to motivate, train, and develop a top-performing kitchen crew, keeping morale high and performance even higher.
Operational Mastery: You understand the numbers—from food costs and labor management to inventory control and production planning, you know how to run an efficient, profitable kitchen.
Problem-Solving Pro: Whether it’s handling a rush, resolving team challenges, or improving food production flow, you’re a quick thinker and a cool-headed decision-maker.
Commitment to Excellence: Food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness are non-negotiable. You lead by example and ensure your kitchen exceeds all health and safety standards.
