QUALIFICATIONS :
Education, Training And Experience
A level of training, education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field and five (5) years of related experience. Knowledge and experience with quality improvement, long-term care, and / or infection prevention and control preferred. Relevant certification also preferred such as Gerontology Nursing Certificate (GNC) or equivalent, Quality Improvement or Change management certificate.

- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare technology and work processes

- Superior investigative, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to teach in both individual and large group settings
- Ability to interact with others effectively, often in highly charged emotional states
- Ability to maintain confidences of personal employee health files and matters
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to operate a PC utilizing MS Office software applications and databases
- Physical ability to carry out the position
- Valid BC Driver's License
