Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Ground Laborer, you will showcase your attention to detail and horticultural flair as a Grounds Laborer – and maintain hotel grounds that provide a beautiful backdrop to every exceptional guest stay.

What you will be doing :

Reporting to the Grounds Superintendent, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
• Maintain flower beds, landscape plantings both indoor & outdoor
• Mow, trim, water all turf areas of resort
• Prepare landscape areas for repair or construction
• Clean the property - litter, animal waste, recycling, hazard trees and yard debris
• Plant, fertilize and pesticide usage on a periodic basis
• Assist irrigation technician when necessary
• Operate power tools and equipment while using proper personal protective equipment

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include :

Visa Requirements :  Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
