SUMMARY

The Accounting/Reporting Manageris responsible for the preparation and coordination of planning reporting cost control and client interface. This job provides support to all accounting and reporting functions including the accounting/reporting needs of BGIS staff members. Dollars per budget for the ARM II is greater than $10 Million the square feet managed is over 5 million and the number of buildings managed is over 100.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Book Revenue entries by project and maintain cost and accrual at the project level
• Review budget cost billing at the project level
• Interface with PM for EAC and billing
• Support the preparation & coordination of planning reporting cost control & client interface
• Ensure diligence for work initiation & authorization work implementation & control inspection & documentation of completed work & payment
• Ensure data integrity through the management of data quality reviews & the implementation of data management processes
• Support internal & external audit requirements
• Provide additional support to the Controller and
• Support the preparation & analysis of various financial reports

EDUCATION JOB-RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION:University graduation or professional certification (e.g. P. Eng CMA CGA or equivalent courses)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Post-Secondary training in accounting and computer systems
• Large project experience
• Oracle experience will be an asset
• Strong customer relation skills
• Ability to lead and be a team player
• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

• CPA designation (or in final stages of completion)
