Job Description
The Digital Product Analyst will work closely with the Digital Product Management team and Business Product Owners to assist with the development and maintenance of multiple digital product journeys for customer.
This individual will be responsible for supporting strategies to test and scale new products offerings and channels. The Analyst will conduct market & customer research and couple these insights with internal data modelling to propose innovative solutions for customers.
The Analyst will work with product managers and software engineers to get new products and features in the hands of customers and iterate upon these offerings based on consumer reception and as part of an Agile delivery team.
The Digital Product Analysts will support the Digital Product Management team in the creation and management of end-to-end digital journeys for products, including supporting activities for collecting, documenting, and delivering on the voice of the customer / business and facilitating strategic work sessions with business stakeholders to prepare proof of concepts for new business endeavors.
Job Duties
- Support the creation and maintenance of the end-to-end digital product journeys (from creation of concept to implementation and continuously monitoring and refining) working closely with the Digital Product team and Business stakeholders
- Contribute to proactive creation and maintenance of detailed digital product journeys, journey progress metrics / KPIs, identification of journey dependencies and risks related to other product, platforms, services, or applications and develop mitigation strategies with the Business and in support of digital product needs
- Define and document product user stories to enable technical design, development, and testing
- Partner with the UX / UI team to establish experience interactions and designs based on high level feature requirements
- Responsible for detailed product feature definition, including functional and non-functional requirements
- Perform product validation throughout the development cycle, to ensure alignment with functional requirements
- Ensure product dependencies and integration points are understood for release planning
- Serve as part of an Agile team working with, Business, Architecture, DevSecOps, Infrastructure and other HTAS functions to support the Digital Product team and Business prioritize and groom product backlogs regularly and for multiple products at a time
- Work with the Digital and Business Product teams to clarify business requirements, remove roadblocks, communicate, and support alignment around product strategy
- Develop and deliver progress reports for digital journey progress, risks, and metrics for leadership (Business and HTAS)
- Analyze and identify strategic factors which drive digital product growth
- Validate analysis using customer centric design practices
- Support in recommending rollout strategies which result in removing barriers and maximizing conversion rates
- Partner with Digital Product Managers to understand, develop and inform digital product roadmaps, and support roll out plans
- Help build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts designed to deliver new go to market strategies for digital products at customer
- Understand the long-term support strategy and its relevance to support innovation
- Understand the strategic orientation of innovation management for the relevant digital products
- Analyze opportunities, risks, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as the derivation of critical issues of the future and the purpose and vision of what customer wants to achieve with innovation
- Conduct research into future trends and the impact and opportunity for the customer. Make future projections as the basis for the innovation strategy
- Source, identify and instill innovative best practices to maximize the value of existing technology and practices for customer digital products
- Demonstrate and share knowledge of emerging innovations around digital products to support team
- Develop and seek innovative ideas from a wide variety of sources, internal and external, collect, evaluate, and select ideas actively search for ideas and innovative technologies outside the company
- Develop effort vs benefit-based business cases to examine whether an innovation is worth doing or worthy of funding.
Required Work Experience
4-9 years' experience in a similar role (can include related experience, such as product management)
Preferred Work Experience
Demonstrated passion for Customer Experience and acting as an advocate for customers
At least 1-2 years' experience with digital products, in a Digital Product Analyst or Digital Service Analyst role""
