AV Field Service Technician
Our client is hiring an AV Field Service Technician to join their team in Ottawa. The primary responsibility will be to work with the helpdesk teams and provide on-location technical support for customer issues surround AV equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and clean AV equipment.
- Install and program control systems (AMX / Crestron).
- Setup and troubleshoot video codecs and teleconferencing systems.
- Travel to various job sites as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- 1-3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred.
- Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Avixa (InfoComm) CTS General Certification preferred.
- Crestron Professional Installation training preferred.
- Effective communication with employees, customers, and colleagues.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Independent work ability and deadline management.
- Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control systems.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
