We are looking for Java Developer along with banking / financial background.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $115K - CAD$120K / year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities :

  • 8+ years of experience in developing application using Java / J2EE technologies - Core Java 1.8 or higher (OOPS, Design Pattern, Data Structure, Threading & Concurrent API, JMS)
  • Working knowledge on Spring and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, SOAP / REST APIs.
  • Demonstrated experience in building Microservices leveraging APIs, containers and automation.
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PL / SQL) and an understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
  • Experience with CI / CD build pipelines and toolchain – Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Artifactory, Jira Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using big data databases such as Hadoop with Spark.

Requirements : You are :

  • Experience with API's.
  • Knowledge on messaging queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding on build tools – Maven
  • Linux hands-on experience and familiar with shell scripting.
  • Good hands on in Automated unit testing [Junit / Mockito].
  • Understanding of JSON, XML, YAML, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width)

    • It would be great if you also had :

    Banking / Financial industry experience.
