Senior Analyst

Aon Is Looking for a Senior Analyst, Client Information Management - Health Solutions Practice (anywhere in Canada).

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering outstanding service and support as part of our Health Solutions business group within Aon.

What the day will look like

Review contract, amendments, financial agreements as part of plan changes and change in carrier or new client onboarding;

  • Support and maintain data collection and accuracy in Aon’s proprietary client information platform;
  • Review, audit and maintain of client plan information;
  • Create, compare and review plan summaries working with client teams;

Create and review plan prevalence benchmarking reports;

  • Assist with ad-hoc client service questions, work with carriers and other business units to resolve and support clients;
  • Draft reports and correspondence;
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams with colleagues, clients, client teams and carriers;
  • Increase efficiency by identifying ways to improve standardized processes to add value to client deliverables;
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the group benefits industry, systems, products, trends and emerging technology, while having a thorough understanding of how this relates to increasing value to clients;
  • Participate in team projects and activities which drive innovation, improved client value and business result
  • How this opportunity is different

    As a Senior Analyst in our Client Information Management team you will be supporting client teams in the servicing of clients with respect to plan design, contract management and benchmarking. Working with senior team members you will be involved with a variety of client deliverables including but not limited to contract reviews, plan design summaries and prevalence benchmarking, addressing ad hoc Client questions related to plan design, carriers and programs.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of progressive work experience in group insurance would be considered an asset;
  • Demonstrated skills in organization, collaboration, detail oriented;
  • Bi-lingual (English, French) abilities would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills;
  • Must be a highly motivated, accountable, customer service and team oriented individual;
  • Need someone who is a self-starter and who has curiosity. Someone who has interest in continually learning and challenging themselves to think outside of the box and step outside of their comfort zone;
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, ability to work under deadlines, and work on several projects simultaneously is critical;
  • Works well as part of a team and ability to self-manage;
  • Ability to discover, ask key questions and seek for guidance where appropriate. Interest to think beyond day to day task and understand how your work aligns to the success of Aon’s Health Solutions practice; and
  • Applicants who do not have the industry experience but have the required education and skills will also be considered.
  • Education :

  • University or College graduate in Financial Services, or related discipline, or equivalent years of industry experience; and
  • Commitment to professional development.
