Our Valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Bilingual HR / Management Consultant (15+ yrs) specializing in classification in order to re-organize, review and update executive job descriptions in support of evolving internal organizational changes within the Public Sector
The primary objective of the project is for a Classification consultant to create new and / or update existing EX job descriptions , so that the resulting job descriptions accurately reflect the work carried out by the incumbents.
This project, and the work of the consultant, will transpire in collaboration with two different teams and members of senior leadership to ensure that the work completed achieves desired results.
A number of EX job descriptions in the organization do not accurately reflect the work carried out by the incumbents. This project aims to remedy that issue.
Must Have :
- 5+ years as a classification expert with significant experience in defining roles and responsibilities for senior executives within an organization
- Enhanced Reliability Clearance
- Fluently Bilingual (English / French)
- a valid accreditation in classification.
Tasks :
- The contractor shall engage in consultations with a working group comprised of the HR team and another branch, Classification team, and members of senior leadership team to review several EX job descriptions
- The contractor will discuss with the working group, required amendments, and to either update existing job descriptions or, in cases where significant changes are required, create new job descriptions.
- Review and / or creation of a job description drafted within 2-3 business days
Deliverables :
- Complete EX classification rationales
- EX classification committee reports
- Relativity reports and analysis
- Organizational change proposal reports and plans, as requested by the project authority
- Produce weekly program report and briefing material
