Role Overview
Our client, a highly respected and very well-established law firm, is seeking an experienced finance leader to support the financial management, planning, and reporting functions of this growing law firm. This individual will play a key role in strengthening financial insight, supporting leadership decision-making, and ensuring sound financial practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
· Oversee core accounting processes and reporting cycles
· Prepare financial analyses, dashboards, and performance insights for leadership
· Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key operational metrics
· Support compliance with relevant regulatory, tax, and audit requirements
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors
· Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems, processes, and controls
· Provide mentorship and guidance within the finance function as required
· Qualifications
· Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
· Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) considered an asset
· 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
· Experience in law firm, professional services or complex operating environments preferred
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
Effective communicator with the ability to work across teams
