Job description

Are you looking for a Full-Time Permanent Opportunity with Full Time hours to showcase your fantastic CNC Machining Installation and Maintenance skills?

Drake International is currently looking for Field Service Technicians – CNC Machinist - Installation and Maintenance in the Tooling Industry in the GTA Area.

What you do :

  • Install, commission, and set up CNC mills, lathes, and rotary equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance, alignments, calibrations, and testing
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
  • Train operators on basic machine care and operation when needed
  • Complete clear service documentation and reports
  • Travel to customer sites across Ontario (company vehicle provided)
  • Follow all workplace and site safety standards

    • Who are you :

  • Must have experience in field service, industrial maintenance, automation, or electromechanical repair
  • Must have strong electrical troubleshooting skills (drives, motors, controls, sensors, PLCs) installation, and repair of CNC Machinery.
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract
  • Must have ability to diagnose issues using schematics and technical documentation
  • Must have strong communication and customer service skills
  • Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Must have Steel Toed Safety Shoes.
  • Must pass a criminal check.
