About The Role
We are looking for a Digital Media Strategy Lead who will own performance media strategy across all platforms, with additional platforms as needed, driving profitable growth and improving ROAS through smart optimization and creative testing. We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves turning performance data into clear actions. As a media lead, you will work closely with the performance lead and collaborate with the Brand, Website, and Growth teams to lead campaign execution, analyze results, and build scalable systems that fuel next stage of growth.
You’ll Get To
- Own the performance marketing roadmap and Partner with leadership to align on strategic goals and budget allocation.
- Own the performance marketing roadmap and KPIs across belairdirect and Intact Insurance
- Manage our paid media agency to scale performance across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, OTA and other paid channels. You’ll role up your sleeves and dive into on-platform campaign management too.
- Analyze market trends, insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and develop innovative media approaches
- Develop strong partnerships with external media buying agencies and key media partners to maximize spend & alpha testing opportunities
- Develop a comprehensive media strategy that aligns with business objectives
- Steward effective communication and understand needs of marketing teams, internal stakeholders and business leaders
- Partner with Research & Analytics teams to evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions to influence future strategies
- Encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration and intellectual ownership to drive results as well as manage, coach
- Manage full-funnel targeting, segmentation, and retargeting strategies to maximize conversion performance.
- Manage agency partners for overflow and channel-specific support, ensuring campaign briefs, creative QA, pacing reviews, and learnings are effectively shared back to the internal team
You Are
- Creative thinker who enjoys finding creative solutions by bringing brands together in unique and unexpected ways
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-brand, multi-product campaigns with significant budgets.
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights in a clear and concise manner
- Driven self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across multiple departments and disciplines in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who can with the support of the data analytics team, prepare detailed performance reports, provide actionable insights, clear summaries of results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Media Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing high-budget performance/growth media campaigns (SEM, Social, Programmatic CTV etc).
- Experience with financial and analytics/attribution modelling, connecting media to sales.
- Sound proficiency in key conversion-driving platforms.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV, etc.) and experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Strong ability to connect business objectives with media performance, translating insights from data into actionable optimizations that drive tangible business results.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
Salary, Benefits and Other Information
Salary range is based on a 35-hour workweek and may vary by experience, skills, and anticipated contribution. The company offers annual bonus targets with potential payout and a pension plan, including a defined benefit option. Suitability and compensation will consider internal equity and other factors.
