About the Role : :

As a Sales Accountant, you’ll be part of a team working on month end preparation and review of key balance sheet reconciliations, related to sales and logistics.

In your role, you’ll assist with the month-end close process, including the posting of manual journals, including revenue / receivables and shipping costs. Additionally, you’ll assist with the preparation of financial reporting for the Canada operations, with the submission of monthly management sales and logistics reporting packs.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you’ll work in a hybrid approach with at least 2 days a week in the Drax Office in Vancouver. This is a fixed term contract (FTC) role for a maternity cover for 18 months.

Who we’re looking for :

You’ll have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a professional qualification in accountancy is an added advantage. You’ll have a few years of experience in accounts reconciliations and have a strong understanding of the sales process.

Your sound excel, organisation, communication and stakeholder relationship skills would help you succeed in this role.

You’ll be currently based in any of the following locations, in travelling distance to the local Drax office in Vancouver.
