SUMMARY
As part of the Inventory Management team the Back-Office System Support Analyst will have an important role in helping resolve business issues impacting hundreds of users.
The successful candidate will be required to learn various aspects of inventory management software system and apply learnings to complex business issues.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory System Support
- Have a detailed understanding of the inventory system and be able to apply knowledge to address identified issues and provide a positive resolution in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicate resolutions to users.
- Understand when issues need to be escalated or directed to another group. Ensure that issue management, delegation, and escalation is done in effective manner.
- Work collaboratively with other stakeholders and the Inventory Management team to share learnings and refine processes.
- Track commonly cited issues and prepare necessary communication and tools to users to address matters proactively.

Be able to respond to queries effectively during peak periods
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Community College / Vocational / Technical Diploma.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience.
- Be able to identify issues and diagnose root causes quickly.
- Able to quickly learn all aspects of a site back office systems and apply learnings to identified issues.
- Successful candidate must demonstrate effective customer service skills (. listening, empathy, patience) in addition to technical strengths.
- Manage workload effectively during peak periods.
- Have the ability to deal with issues in an unstructured and unpredictable setting.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Possess strong communication skills and ability to deal with complex issues quickly.
- Deliver work to a high level of standard on a consistent basis.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong excel skills.
