Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
Wage Range : $80,000 – $90,000 annually (subject to annual review and conditional bonus)

Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor reports to the Facility Manager and oversees daily manufacturing operations, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include leadership of production teams, scheduling, maintenance coordination, training, data entry into manufacturing systems, and optimization of operational effectiveness through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Duties
- Supervise day‑to‑day operations to ensure safe, efficient execution of production and logistics workflows.
- Coordinate scheduling to minimize detention and storage costs while maintaining compliance.
- Provide technical guidance on automated tools, databases and compliance systems.
- Lead container grading, certification and serial number traceability for all shipments.
- Maintain real‑time inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS regulations including WHMIS, OSHA and other regional standards.
- Verify and maintain shipping documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, customs paperwork).
- Oversee chemical container handling, labeling, acceptance policy and storage practices to meet hazardous material regulations.
- Manage the full lifecycle of industrial totes, including grading and quality checks with photographic documentation and serial number tracking.
- Maintain a centralized asset tracking database, perform weekly reconciliations and ensure traceability for audits.
- Implement process automation to standardize workflows and improve productivity.
- Oversee and optimize complex operational databases with automated updates and real‑time reporting.
- Maintain an automated chemical inventory system with integrated tracking of retest dates, classifications and regulatory compliance details.
- Ensure seamless operation of automation systems for data accuracy, scalability and stability.
- Implement audit‑ready version control for all documentation and reporting systems.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to maintain compliance across the facility.
- Update safety procedures, hazard assessments and SOPs for warehouse and production operations.
- Co‑train staff on PPE, emergency response and chemical spill management.
- Monitor and document workplace incidents, near misses and corrective actions to promote a zero‑incident culture.
- Collaborate with external regulatory bodies for audits, inspections and compliance reporting.
Experience, Skills and Other Requirements
Diploma in business, supply chain, production or manufacturing management or related field.1+ years’ experience in the container reconditioning industry.Proven knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations and CGSB standards.Experience with hazardous waste handling and disposition.Familiarity with Dangerous Goods Marks and Classes Description.Working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 347 – Waste Classification, General Waste Management, Storage, Transportation and Disposal.Prior work experience in a facility governed by Ontario MECP waste and air environmental compliance approval.Advanced working knowledge of MS Office including Excel VBA scripting.Experience with Python automation, Power BI and Power Automate.Experience implementing and auditing safety programs required by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.Strong communication skills : written, verbal, listening and presentation.Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.Benefits Offered
