Commercial Operations Analyst (Market Analytics & Insights)

Meet the team:

Dexcom is seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst with a focus on Market Analytics & Insights to work closely with the Canadian Commercial Teams to provide analysis and insights to support the delivery of the markets business plan. The individual should be a self-starter and is comfortable working with large complex and diverse data sets to provide actionable and insightful information to business partners.

Where you come in:

• Collect analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify trends patterns and key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for commercial leaders and key stakeholders.
• Develop predictive models forecasts reports and dashboards that provide insights into market dynamics customer behavior and sales opportunities. Present these reports in a clear and concise manner to support sales leadership in making informed decisions.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure that analysis and insights are validated relevant to business needs and acted upon. Work closely with commercial leaders to develop and refine strategies and go-to-market plans. Use data insights to identify growth opportunities and prioritize customer segments.
• Working with third party data providers to provide analysis and identify potential opportunities for prioritization.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and provide strategic recommendations to optimize sales processes improve efficiency and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with various departments including marketing finance and operations to understand business needs and align initiatives with overall organizational goals.
• Support special projects designed to improve commercial performance and/or expand capabilities.
• Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present complex information in a clear and understandable format for decision-makers.

What makes you successful:

• Proven experience in marketing analytics business intelligence or a related analytical role.
• Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Excel Tableau Power BI or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Veeva) and other sales-related software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical aptitude to include Microsoft Office tools such as Excel PowerPoint Word & Outlook.
• Prior experience in the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
• You may have experience of working with third party medical data providers e.g. IQVIA
• You will be fluent in English. Bilingual with French a plus
