Director, Communications

• Building and executing a holistic communications strategy spanning social media PR influencer relations and internal communications.
• Overseeing content planning publishing and storytelling across many platforms including but not limited to Instagram TikTok Facebook LinkedIn and other social media
• Working with the VP Brand and Strategy to manage media relations by drafting press releases pitching stories developing talking points and responding to media inquiries
• Leading internal communications and working with Human Resources to craft timely internal updates ensure transparency and aligning internal teams with business priorities.
• Working directly with the Design/Content Spaces Brand and E-Commerce teams to ensure messaging consistency across all touchpoints.
• Guiding strategic partnerships public relations initiatives and major campaign launches from concept through execution.
• Managing the current communications team consisting of Communications Coordinator interns and external creators
• Overseeing influencer partnerships and content creators to ensure storytelling remains fresh authentic and aligned with the Collective Arts brand
• Reviewing analytics reporting on campaign performance and optimizing future communications based on insights.
• There may be needs to work a few evening and weekends attending events and brand activations

• Developing and evolving the overarching communications roadmap brand voice guidance and narrative approach across all channels

• Managing daily communications execution content calendars media outreach and influencer relations

• Leading company wide communications crisis responses and partnerships with Marketing Design Sales and Senior Leadership Team.

• Managing current communications staff through day to day tasks setting their goals mentoring the team and supporting professional development

• 8 years of experience in communications leadership roles within consumer brands or agencies
• Proven success developing and executing multi channel communications strategies (PR social internal comms influencer partnerships).
• Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills with a strong understanding of cultural trends.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders competing priorities and fast-moving deadlines.
• Experience navigating crisis communications and protecting brand reputation.
• A collaborative leadership style grounded in clarity creativity and accountability.
• Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram TikTok Facebook LinkedIn Pinterest YouTube) and emerging digital trends.
• Experience managing and mentoring a communications team or agency partners.
• A proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and a passion for brand-building.
