What is the opportunity?

As a Pension Analyst - Group Annuity, you will provide support to RBC Insurance's Group Annuity Line of Business in maintaining certain functions within the Group Annuity team. You will be responsible for processing data and reporting within the Pension Administration record keeping system(s) with re-occurring monthly activities, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. This position provides support and assistance to the various members of the team. What will you do?

• Accurately update and maintain plan sponsor's data in the pension system(s) (monthly and / or ad hoc basis)
• Investigate instances of data integrity problems and initiate corrective actions. Recommend solutions for resolving problems
• Assist with : i) the implementation of new clients and the issuance of annuity certificates to deferred and retired members, ii) user acceptance testing as required for new releases / clients, problems logs which could have an impact on the Pension Administration database(s), iii) the validation (quality control) of Annual Statements as required by the applicable legislation and any other priority initiatives that may arise
• Perform ad-hoc reporting for internal / external use as needed
• Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations per client
