Responsibilities
Lead and develop the facilities reliability program to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations
Partner with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified equipment
Guide initiatives focused on reliability, maintainability, and failure elimination across :
Equipment and production processes
Utilities and facilities
Controls and safety systems
Define, design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve maintenance strategies, including :
Value-added preventive maintenance tasks
Predictive maintenance and non-destructive testing methodologies
Analyze repetitive equipment failures and develop sustainable solutions impacting :
Production capacity
Product quality
Operating costs
Regulatory and safety compliance
Provide technical support to maintenance and production personnel during routine and urgent equipment issues
Develop and implement training programs to strengthen Maintenance team capabilities
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced
Reliability Specialist
to develop and lead the reliability program at their Morristown, Tennessee facility. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and performance of plant equipment, processes, and systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving operational excellence.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Reliability Engineering or Reliability Specialist role
Previous experience in a maintenance role (Manager, Supervisor, or Technician) strongly preferred
