About the Job

The Registered Nurse :

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts of work will be scheduled day, evenings and nights rotating from 07 : 00 to 19 : 00, 09 : 00 to 21 : 00, 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 hours.

Penticton Regional Hospital Emergency Department receives 37,000+ patient visits per year and the staffing complement consists of a Patient Care Coordinator, RNs, a LPN, and Unit Clerk. The RNs work 12-hour shifts and we operate the High Acuity Response Team for the South Okanagan Region which is a great opportunity for anyone looking to expand their scope of nursing practice.
