Power BI Developer

BMO is currently sourcing for a Power BI Developer position on a 6-month contract.

Summary of Role :

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing dashboards and analyses, identifying trends and patterns, and providing insights through reporting and data visualization techniques. The role involves working with various teams to enhance data analytics solutions and documenting data flow and processes.

Project :

The Power BI Developer will work on projects focused on optimizing, refining, automating, and scaling analysis into repeatable analytics solutions and decision support tools within the Data and Analytics line of business.

Years of experience :

Typically has 3-6 years of experience as a Power BI developer.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to) :

• Build reporting dashboards using appropriate data extraction, cleaning, and visualization techniques.
• Provide value through insights, reporting, and data visualization.
• Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions for consistency and repeatability.
• Research and apply continuous improvement in data visualization.
• Work with teams to enhance usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions.
• Develop data visualizations of large data sets for intuitive presentation to decision-makers.
• Document data flow, systems, and processes for improved design and management.
