Daily inspection of in process units : ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality.Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor.Complete sub assembly inspections such as : motor, coil, evap., furnace, and paint.Complete unit final inspections.Review inspection documents and make unit packages.Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator.Assist with education of other inspectors and production team members.Inspect drawings and marking / breaking work and ensure it is correct.Assist marking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to Quality Supervisor.Inspect all aspect of units with the appropriate forms from the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies.Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos.Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.Other duties as required.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- 1-3 years of quality control experience in an organization that has an established quality program.
- Carpentry, Electrical, or Sheet Metal background is an asset.
- Some formal or practical exposure to quality control concepts.
- Certification or currently working towards certification.
- Courses with a focus on quality control or quality systems.
- Strong ability to read shop drawings.
- Practical experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage change on the floor and work well with shift supervisors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

- Rotating Day Shift (continental);
- Monday to Thursday Nightshift;
Weekend Nightshift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
