About the Role

We are currently looking for an Animal Care Specialist to join our Housing Team. Reporting to the Animal Care Supervisor the successful candidate must have a good knowledge of livestock care and be physically capable of handling large bulls. Hay silage and manure handling are part of the regular job duties. This is an in-person role requiring 5 days per week in our Guelph location. The working hours of the role are Monday to Friday 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM with rotating weekends on a 12 month contract.

This position offers a minimum starting hourly wage of $21.00 with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.

• Semen Collection
• Feeding and caring for bulls
• Operating farm equipment
• Seasonal crop work
• Mechanical and manual barn cleaning
