Job description

Agilus is recruiting for a Service and Sales Technician in the Fluid Handling Sector in Winnipeg, Manitoba . Our Industrial Fluid Handling client is seeking a full-time, permanent Service and Sales Technician to support the installation, repair, and growth of the client base. This role will involve working heavily with industrial painting equipment, powder coating equipment, polyurea / polyurethane machines, and lubrication equipment, all while ensuring a safe working environment.

A typical day :

Commission and install new equipment at customer sites.
Service and troubleshoot customer's painting and lubrication equipment.
Procure parts for repair.
Proactively visit clients to sell new equipment and services.
Complete repair estimates and disassemble, repair, and reassemble various equipment including : airless sprayers, pumps, industrial coating systems, proportioners, valves, compressors, flow monitors, and control systems.
Complete preventative maintenance.
Complete service reports, work orders, and respond to client emails.
Develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers.

Successful candidates will have :

3+ years of experience with low- and high-pressure pumps, painting equipment, coating equipment, and lubrication equipment.

Valid passport to travel to the United States for equipment training.

Mechanically inclined, skilled with troubleshooting and repair.

Excellent customer service skills.

Clean driving record and valid driver's license; a driver's abstract may be required.

Comfortable working with / around chemicals and solvents.

Ownership of hand tools.

Willingness to work overtime as needed for repairs extending beyond regular business hours.
